Burning Crusade Poor performance with Ryzen 1700 and GTX 1070

Hello everyone,

I'm running a setup with a R7 1700, GTX 1070 and 32 GB RAM, which is quite overkill for pretty much anything. When I walk around in Honor Hold with everything on max and all addons disabled I only get 80-85 FPS. The 1700 is clocked to 3.75GHz.

Please help me, I have no clue what the issue is.

Which OS are you running? Windows 10?

I've had performance issues running older versions of World of Warcraft on Windows 10 on certain systems. For me, having the Visual C++ Redistributables installed has fixed it. I honestly couldn't tell you exactly which one fixed it since I didn't bother go into such detail on my research, I just installed most of them except the newest ones - the version of WoW I'm playing wasn't out when the newer redistributables were released after all.

Could be worth a shot.
