So I like warriors but sadly blood elfs dont have warriors here, love rogues but everyone has one on the server...or so i been told. Ret pallys look sexy but I heard they suck at pvp. focusing right now into leveling to 70 but looking for some world pvp down the road....
Would make a rogue but everyone would be tearing Black Temple down for those glaives when they come out. Ret pallys might still suck by that time....and warriors....the closest thing to good looks are orcs but they still ugly as heck....which they would add blood elfs warriors to TBC :P
Now my question is.....what would be a good leveling class and also good at pvp out of those 3?
Stuck between Rogue and Pally mainly but also considering warrior (if i can find something good looking) thank you for your input and have a great night!!
None of the 3 is a good leveling class and you will eat after 2-3 kills.
If you're playing warrior, you should get ready to tank because you'll be forced to one way or another. There are already far too many selfish Fwarrs DPSing. Unless you have a pocket-healer friend, you can forget about PvPing at least until S3. Unless you're masochistic, of course.
If you're playing rogue, you'll be part of a big flock of sheep, all looking exactly the same with the same weapons, same gear, same engineering helm, and same PvE Combat and PvP Hemo builds.
If you're playing pally, you will either do 0 DPS as Retri until you get REALLY well geared and have an Enh shaman in your group, or you'll be forced to play Protection or 1-button Holy. As far as PvP goes, you'll either be Ret and never go over 1.8k rating or Holy and get CCed and trained for the rest of your life.
I hope my positivism helped you decide. Have fun!
On a serious note, you seem like the type of player who doesn't care about min-maxing and doesn't have friends on the server anyway, so just play whatever the **** you want, really.
Paladin is the worst class to level, so ****ing boring. Warrior is rough, but with charge/intercept and stance dancing and the brute strength of the class. its hella fun.
There won't be Blood Elf Warriors, I don't think that was a thing until Warlords of Draenor? As for playing a Rogue, it is the supreme world PvP spec so long as you have the mindset to play a Rogue as it should be. If your playing is just gonna be a dps Warrior in leather then Rogue isn't a good option. You shouldn't be worried about glaives anyway since the only people getting glaives are people with officer positions or long established raiders in guilds.
Most people have tried and there is no denying it is beyond boring to level. No one said it was hard. lol and Ret is a terrible spec in TBC.
Ret is pretty good in raids, we're in patch 2.4 and Rets were already fixed by 2.3 and made desirable by 2.4. I've seen a lot of guilds recruiting rets specifically because they aren't that popular and there isn't a long queue of players waiting to take the raid spot (like if you played DPS Warrior). if played well (aka farm demonic runes and mana pots) they do really competitive dps and also bring a load of buffs/utility to a raid.
Boring to level though, arguably boring to play in general and more viable on horde than on alliance.
