Minimum Donation to skip Queues

Hey guys, I was thinking of donating today because I'm pretty fed up with waiting for the login queue. I've heard that you need to donate a minimum of $10 in order to upgrade to Premium status and skip the queue.

My question is, does it have to be a minimum of 10 Euros? I am in Canada and the $10 option will only give me 8 coins. Does this mean I have to go up a level and donate $20 in order to get 15 coins (which makes no sense... $10 is 8 coins, but $20 is only 15..?? O.o) and be eligible for the queue skip..?

any amount of donation will grant you "premium" status ( and as premium perk you will skip Icecrown que forever)
So, do not worry if it 10 dollars or 10 euros

PS: It still doesn't make sense why Canadian customers will get 8 coins for $10, but only 15 for $20. This seems rather odd..
