WotLK Having Trouble Logging into the Client

Hello, relatively new here. Not sure if this is a bug or possibly me just doing something wrong.

I logged into the client for the very first time early this morning Eastern Standard Time. Used my Username/PW combo for this site, and was logged into the game really quick. I played for a few hours, everything was fine.

I'm currently attempting to log back into the game and continue playing. Only problem is: I can't. The client keeps telling me I'm unable to connect. I'm still using the WoW.exe file to access the game. My internet connection is fine. I haven't tampered with any of the files I got when I DL'd the game. Anyone know what might be causing the issue?

It's been over 5 hours. Still trying to log in, still getting some sort of connection issue. Anyone know of any changes? I see that the servers are still up and people are playing ._.
