1. Problem with starting up WotLK

    Hey guys, I have a problem - cannot start Wow.exe. Here are the errors which I receive:

    Second pic which shows Error 0xc0000005, which is right after I click on Close the program.

    I tried googling the problem and found no solutions except one - if I disable my anti-virus program, I was able to start the game without problems.

    A bigger problem emerged after that - I was repeatedly getting kicked out of the game, like if someone was trying to log in. I had really big problems with the log-in feature on the website as well, and thought that my account was stolen. Fortunately, after a few bumps along the road, I was able to reset my password and finally log in.

    But now I don't want to disable AVG anymore and the strange thing is - the game worked fine yesterday, no errors. I shut down my PC yesterday, which I rarely do, before going to bed. Maybe this was the cause because today I can't open the game?

    So if this is an issue with my client/PC, I also tried logging in from the Warmane client, didn't work as well. I tried deleting both of my clients and downloading the one with the old models - again no luck.

    Please, help!

  2. You can add WoW.exe as an exception in AVG settings.

    It started because AVG updated something. Avast started doing that to all versions of WoW a few months ago, including latest retail client at that time.

  3. Thanks a lot! It is fixed now, I also updated Razer Synapse, a lot of people were having trouble with this error because of Razer's beta software.
