1. Insane lag on game server

Hey. I play on Icecrown. I can login just fine but most of the week I get huge lag I cant even play.
I pinged the logon servers and they are fine, no packet loss, and expected delay is there.
But the "game servers" lag the hell out of me. I tried playing on another server and I dont have any problems.
Also I want to note that when I get this insane lag, the rest of the server seems to play fine. Everything around me makes sense (in a bg for example) people fight each other with huge delays but I can tell they can play correctly except for myself. Also I ask people if they are experiencing lag and they aren't when I am.
I would like to know if there is anything that can be done about this since I can't play under these conditions and I really dont want to start over on a different server.
    Regards.

  2. Is the weekend ,which means peak population 12k players, wait till the kids go to bed and come back. there is nothing they can do ,

I dont know what you mean but what im saying is that the problem seems to be happening to me and maybe a handful of other players. its not a server-wide lag issue.

  4. It's not only you! https://i.imgur.com/p8COcQ9.jpg
For more than a week, every time I log in, my ping is between 11-20k ms, and it only happens when I log into warmane.

Warmane network is somehow blacklisting some ip-ranges (I'm from Uruguay).

We can't even play like this, it's ridiculous.

  5. I did exprience the same thing, 1-2 months ago, and did not find any reason or solution.
I had to wait it out. Sucks balls dude.
What u wanna do ; its Molten.

    Im from freaking Uruguay aswell!!!!!!!
Yeah I was thinking something among those lines as well. If not blacklisting, "service reduction" of some sort to ip ranges for whatever reason.
Either way , its currently unkown to me if im going to be able to play on any given day due to this lag problem. Would love for it to be solved.

  7. Today's lag:

Seriously, this is not only unplayable. But we can't even try winterveil achievements

As you can see, logon server pings just fine (260ms is normal for us). Our country is not blocking anything (I can still play other EU servers without any problem).

I know its really hard (almost impossible) to see a direct solution from devs in warmane, but come on! This is ridiculous and pretty annoying.

  8. I have the same problem from Ireland.

My internet is perfect but experiencing what feels like 500ms in game at times.

I found that restarting the router may prove as a temporary solution. Give it a shot and tell me what happens. Cheers

  10. You don't even need to restart the router (mine restarts automatically once every 12 hours when the ip resets, by config), I actually restart the game and when I log back my ms is around 300ms, then start moving and after 2mins (instantly if I logged off while being at Dalaran or SW) I start feeling the lag. Later the ms info gets updated and I can see the 12k+++ ms

Well, given the fact that my problem gets solved when I restart the router, then yes I need to restart the router.
And no I dont lag anymore after it. So far so good.

Actually it doesnt fix anything. It was just random. Problem persists.

  13. As I told you, that's not a fix. I've restarted my router hundred of times as it does automatically, but that won't change anything.

Go to some desolated map, and disconnect in the middle of nowhere, then lock back and your ms seems "fine" (still over 250, which is our normal ms), head to a capital city and enjoy watching how your ping goes up to 20k ms.

There's nothing we can do with it, it's entirely fault of Warmane's network, not our ISP.

  14. Coming from Uruguay lag doesn't surprise me one bit, almost as far from the servers as you can get. I'm shocked that I can play with just 160ms from the West Coast of the US. Not sure what to tell you guys, that sucks
