Character count is bugged

Hello Staff

I created a character on the icecrown server, however i was unhappy with the looks of my character in-game. So I deleted that character. However I try creating a new character with the same name but is says the name is unavailable. I go on the realm list and it says I have 1 character on icecrown however when I log into that realm, I do not have any characters on the list. Is it possible for the Staff to delete that character because I wanted to use that name for my main character.
