Mining Node Spawn Rates

Hi everyone. I'm sure this topic has been discussed before, but I'm new to the server, and I'm looking for answers.

1) Is the spawn rate on ore deposits reduced?
2) How prolific is botting in Azeroth? (I'm finding it exceedingly time consuming to level my mining)
3) How prolific is botting in Outland?
4) Is it possible to increase the spawn rate on ore deposits in Azeroth without affecting Outland?
5) Should I forget about gathering profs and focus on farming gold through other means and buy materials?

It seems that, at least for an entry level player, crafing your own gear via smithing, tailoring, and lw is extremeley important. However, it took me 3 hours of play time to get from 100-125 mining. I'm not sure if that is overall worth it.

2) Botting is the biggest problem this server has. There are bots literally everywhere

5) I was almost pulling my hair out while leveling mining 1-375. I would level it at times when population is down and it would help a lot, nonetheless gathering professions is a joke and a waste of time since there are so many people and bots on this one realm. There are better options imo
