Game resetting Video Settings on Launch???

Hey, a few friends and I are trying to join one of your WOTLK servers, but we seem to be having some issues.

When we first logged onto the server, we changed our Video settings (proper resolution and such). Now every time we relaunch the game, it shows the cinematic and resets all of the Video settings... And some of us try to put the Video settings back, and when we press "Apply" it doesn't change anything. We try to completely close out of the game and relaunch it, but we still keep getting the cinematic every time we launch the game, and the low resolution Video settings that we are not longer able to adjust for some reason.

Is this something other people are experiencing? How can we stop this from happening when we launch the game?

follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".

That appears to have gotten rid of the Cinematic, but I still can't seem to change my Video Settings. When I try to put the proper resolution, I click "Apply" and it does a screen refresh, but doesn't apply the settings. I also tried just changing the setting and pressing "Save" but that doesn't work either. o.O; It worked before that one time, and every time after that, it hasn't worked!

I'm having the same problem.
Though, I cant figure out step 3, it would be really annoying to have to fix all your stuff again each time you login.
