Burning Crusade Hunter pet disappearing

It's the second time now that my hunter pet just disappeared after i logged in. Last time i logged out, i had my cat with me. When i logged in an hour later i suddenly had my Wind Serpent with me and when i checked the stablemaster the cat was just gone. Any idea how or why this would happen ? And yes, i do feed my pets... ;)

I mean, even if i accidentally abandoned my cat, i would have had to go to the stable master myself and get the Wind Serpent. There is no way i would accidentally abandon a pet and then just have a different one without getting it from the stables.

Today i logged in and the pets switched again... now the Wind Serpent is gone and i got my cat back. What the actual **** is happening on this server. :D

This happened to me too. Logged out with ravager at my side. Logged back and ravager is gone and boar is on my side. Stable is empty.

edit: Switched around pets in stables and ravager appeared, seems like a problem with portrait not showing.

It also happened to me too. On realm outland, i just tried some damage comparison with two different Ravagers, with different training. One moment, I got my first (green) ravager on my side. Then I relog and suddenly when I called my pet, there was second (red) ravager right by me as if I switched them at stable master. But I did nothing, as guys above me. My second ravager is waiting me at stable, so pet is not disappeared, but switched. Thanks
