WotLK Tauren druid help

okay so i'm quite new at wow and i've been playing my tauren druid on the wotlk lordaeron server to the level 20 point and i'm confused why there's no cat form in shapeshifting. i've also been reading about feral and balance druids and i have no idea what that is and it would be very helpful if somewhere cared to explain

I didn't know the exact levels so I did a quick google search. Seems correct, as I remember.

Level 10 - Bear Form through quest in Moonglade.
Level 16 - Aquatic Form through quest in Moonglade.
Level 20 - Cat Form from regular druid training.
Level 30 - Travel Form from regular druid training.
Level 40 - Dire Bear Form from regular druid training.
Level 40 - Moonkin Form only for Balance talents.
Level 50 - Tree of Life Form only for Restoration talents.
Level 68 - Flight Form through regular druid training plus regular mount training.
Level 70 - Swift Flight Form through chain of quests and expert mount training.
