Technical Missing Character

I had a level 90 Warlock on Mists that has simply disappeared from my account. Actually, I had two level 90's and it seems as though all my characters have vanished! I cannot create a ticket as they are only for ban appeals. I am wondering... is this normal? Do characters just become deleted for no apparent reason? Can I get him back?

Your characters are still intact however they were force renamed due to being inactive for an extended period thus they won't be displayed within the website.

You'd need to login in-game to see them.
