Technical Not loading realmlist

I downloaded WoW from the torrent available in the download page, made sure the realmlist is set correctly "set realmlist logon.warmane.com" as it was by default. I ran the game from WoW.exe and it started running. When i signed in (same account i'm posting from now) it signed in and started downloading update (which shouldn't happen as far as I know). What possible issues might cause this? My account isn't made using an email used in anything associated with blizzard.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

are you sure that your realmlist is set correctly ? by that i mean there isnt any other lines than that ?.
Also make sure that you dont have several WoW folders or merged with some old one.
Also i would look up if u have both an EU and a NA folder, because then you could in case have 2x realmlists .

Nope. Only one line. and nothing merged i downloaded the torrent from this site. Could it be an issue from my account?
