WotLK Character trade issue

What if the character that i bought had shadowmourne achieved through questline but was selling a naked toon. Does that mean i can never get shadow morune through questline since it has already been done before? Or any other mog item that u get through quest for that matter?

Why cant people sell their toons for the amount they think it is appropriate. It is our character yet it is our business for how much we want to sell them for.

For a few reasons:

1. We didn't have to make it an option for you to sell characters in the first place AT ALL. We did, but we did under our rules;
2. We're not about to let people ruin our own Marketplace by selling characters at way lower prices than what the items cost there;
3. In fact, characters are yours to play, but belong to Warmane in the end of the day (just like in retail they belong to Blizzard).

I get that part now.

But how am i suppose to know what quests have been done and which hasnt been done when i buy the character? That information should be automatically disclosed otherwise it is like looting a Pandora's box.

So what about quest log of the purchasable character? How are we suppose to know if the character is a subject of a repeatable transmog or legendary quest-line?

Posting under two different accounts isn't going to get you faster/extra attention.

I answered the part I have an answer for. You can try asking a Community Manager in the Ask the Staff section about the other part or waiting to see if a player who has bought characters from gives you a reply, but I believe quest progression is maintained (not only resetting it would be counterproductive for people who want characters with certain achievements or content done, it could open room for bugs or exploits with rewards meant to only be received once) and there's no way to check it before buying. This is also the first time I see this concern as far as I remember, so it doesn't looks like it bothers players in general.
