WotLK Help! I'm back from a long break and my character is gone with bought items!

So I haven't played for almost 2 years and just came back to find my lvl 80 druid gone (and I had bought Nibelung for 20 euro on it too) from my account.
The first thing I did was to ask [email protected] about it but they say they can't find my character or any donations made.

The thing is I'm not even sure that this coinsystem with donations was going on back then, I'm ish sure that when I bought Nibelung to my lvl 80 tauren druid it was just 20 euro clean off the credit card and that was it. Then I asked them to look for any registered purchase for nibelung again but they say again that they ''can't find any donations or my character''.

The only ''proof'' I've got to strengthen my case is that I can prove that my account was created 2016 in February, and that one could asume it would be strange to create an account back then just to start playing now with 0 characters on the account and start nagging about a lost character that I've spend 20 euro on. The fact that the character got some form of inactivitywipe (even though they haven't mentioned that they've done that during the last 2 years) it's not that kind of a big deal, I get it since I've been away for so long. But it's bugging me that they have 0 registered information about my accounts character or the purchase of Nibelung anywhere..

Anyone here have any answers?

They did an account cleanup 6 months ago, and it was stated in the forums that they were doing this.
