WotLK My Twin account got hacked.

Hi, Today I found out that my twin account 90evilangel,has been hacked. The sc*m person that did that left behind a lot of clues and I have plenty of screenshots to prove that and also back-ups. I found out about it bcs I checked my guild bank and there I saw a new name of a char that was able to loot all the items in the first tab, when I tried to understand who that person was(that also left the guild after looting the tab),I found out that my twin account had been hacked.This person changed the name and the password. My character was named Darkgodheal and he changed it to Exfil,3 days ago at the same time that he looted the bank, and left the guild, after hacking the account.He probably also hacked my gmail on that account since I can't log on it too. I have plenty of screenshots of my previous accouts and since he was a gm of a well known guild for over 2 years in the past I got also youtube videos with it and a site full of screenshots with it in raids.I got also the back-ups since 2015 until july 2018 and I'm asking you to pls restore the account and give it back to the right owner,me, that had it for 7 years almost 8, before this ugly person stole it. I hope to get an answer soon and if u want proof , well I can send all you want. Photos, videos, all you need to get my twin account back and to make you bann that thief.

I was also able to get in in the email that i was using for that account, before that person changed it and I got the screenshot where u can see another person request the email change 3 days ago, and which email was it.

It's a bit weird that someone had access to your mail and changed password there, but your other account is not stolen; his thief plays warmane on the same server, and changed name of your chars to steal bank items; especially these ss about email change requests are suspicious. Are u sure that you didn't shared your informations and the "thief" is a friend of u?

Write a mail as Anyone0 mentioned above and wait for respond. Acc could be probably recovered if you didn't share informations;)

I think that he wasn't able to get to the email, since I'm able to use it and with that I wrote to warmane. No that "person" is not a friend, nor I know who that guy/girl is. I never gave my password or account name to anyone, and I'm the only one that ever logged with it( I can prove it having the Ips history since I log other accounts with that same ip too). This person was able to find the account name and guess the password, then from the main panel he/she changed the email to his/her. I saw infact the request to change the email, to the one he is now using and I screenshotted it too, from the email I had on that account for years. I repeat again, and I want this to be clear. I never sold chars, never wanted too, never will and I never for any reason gave my password or email and not even account name to anyone other than me. This I want to be clear, a thief is the right name for that "person". The other account to be clear has different email and passwords, has only a similar name(specular name), bcs is my twin account.

And btw I also got back-ups on that account since years back until pratically few days ago.

First of all it's really confused because a "normal" hacker steals both account and not only one. This means that your mail must be hacked (someone had access) or you are scammed by a phishing site (you say that you didn't share any informations to other ppl)

1. This explains why you have 0 access to your mail anymore. If your mail is [email protected] or similar, a hacker must only find out the password and can use the password resett. Then he has access to your account (name and password) and can change everything.

2. The other possibility is that you are scammed by a phishing site. You logged in there and scammers had the access to your account (it's probably not saved by 2step auth).

But the weird thing is why you saw the mail changing 3 days ago and didn't do anything before. I mean, I would immediately changing everything because this is an alarm signal. Why did you wait 3 days and took screenshots of everything you do on pc, but not act in this situation?

I'm not writing my email here,and staff knows since I wrote to them with mails and ticket too, but I'll tell you that is nothing similar to that you wrote,and never was, my account name and email were different, I would never use same name account name also for an email. And I want you to know I didn't use any sites, bcs when I wanted coins I donated since I was a rank like contributor or more. I have access to my email, pls read, the hacker didn't use it.For idk which reason he had just to get the account name and password and was able to log on forum and change from there the email. Maybe for some reason the 2nd factor autentication was disabled, an error that weeks ago or months ago happend also on another account and to other ppl, for what I have read on the forum. I never used another site and never logged from another site, and I don't like this kind of presumptions. I didn't see the email change 3 days ago, I logged now and saw it, not all can be online 24/7 I got a job and I wasn't checking my twin account everyday, but fate wanted for me to go check the guild bank I have and where these chars were in and TODAY I saw that something was strange. I hope this makes things clear.

I actually see nothing strange in the quotes you made. It can happen that I was so shacken that for a second I wasn't remembering the password on my email, but then I did. Luckily nothing like this ever happened to you or you would understand in which mood I was and why I was thinking,after seeing my account stolen, that also the email linked to it was. In the panic to check if also the email had been hacked, like I thought, I probably (sure, actually since after I logged from it) wrote a different password and still being sure I had written right, I though had been hacked too. Now I'd like if you could try to understand how a person that had an account for 8 years, and donated real money on it can feel, after seeing someone else deleting chars or changing their name(since I can't find them, I found only one thanks to the guild log) and being able to know about this ONLY bcs a case wanted I had to put something in the bank where the other chars where and I saw items where MISSSING and then I went to check the LOG and saw the name of a char that WAS NEVER in the guild and from there started it all. I hope you have never to pass what I'm feeling now. This was a pure violation.

Your quotings only let all see how in panic I was after seeing that, and how sad I'm still, waiting for the staff to help me.
