Cataclysm spent coins

hi i spent almost 100 coins on neltharion a year ago and i been off since, now im seeing the server is gone, my question is can get those coins back somehow?

There is no direct refund, but you can transfer your char onto Frostwolf (MoP). It should be clear that your spent coins for example for cata endcontent gear or profession upgrades (recipes) are lost because you must farm the new gear/recipes again after reaching 90. But coins spent for mounts/level upgrades etc aren't lost because you can transfer the chars with mounts.

Accont link system will be re-enabled in the near future for those with character caps.

Achievements have been resolved, characters that have already transferred will have their achievements sorted out over the next 48 hours.
Titles are also resolved, and will be fixed for existing transfers in the same period.

The reason the actual release was never announced was due to trial and error, we monitored this system very closely as this is our first real-time upgrade system, rather than a realm itself being fully upgraded and all data there-in being migrated.

We're still discussing potential naked-character downgrades to wotlk and a form of return for coins.

If you pay attention when upgrading, you'll notice your characters are still 100% intact on Neltharion as well, even after upgrading, that leaves a lot of possibilities for those characters after we conclude discussions and so on.

You don't get the coins back, but you probably get a service or items for the spent coins if they really realize a downgrading. I wrote an idea in an old topic once, that you could get 1 level 80 char with a starter gear for every 30 coins spent. Maybe they exactly do this now.

But no one knows atm if downgrading is coming and how is the possible form of return for coins then. But I doubt that you get a direct refund as the most ppl speculate in.

well i really dont want to accept that man, i spent almost 100 coins that i never used on a server that had average 200 people online tops, i have no idea why i spent the coins there, i was upset that all my stuff was gone from molten server i guess ( had millions of gold, 10 char all lvl 85 etc...) so i rly think they should make an exception and refund an OG player... thanks
