Are emblems or gear you buy with them tradable between alts? so like let's say I make a tank for faster queues but i want to spend w.e i earn on a dps character, is that possible? Icecrown

Only "tradable" items are BOEs, emblems and emblem gear is not.

Emblems and the most pve gear is soulbound (=you can't trade it between chars). There are only a few items which are "bind on equip" or "bind to battle.net account", but these items are more or less the exception.

What are Boes? are Heirlooms tradable?

1. Soulbound = Item is bound on char and you can't trade it between chars. Emblems, most pve gear and pvp gear are soulbound.

2. Bind on equip (BOE) = Item is tradable between chars as long as you don't equip/transmog it on one char. After you equipped/transmogged it, it's soulbound. These items can be sent to every char on the server (to friends for example)

3. Bind on account (BOA) = These are the known heirlooms and you can send them from one to another char on your account.
