WotLK Banned for buying gold

Hello everyone.

I am not like other people here "I swear I have done nothing wrong". I have done. I bought gold from third party site. I didn't know that I wasn't allowed to. Guess I had to learn hard way. However I can't see any information how long ban will last. All I got is "Your account has been terminated".

I strongly disagree with perma-banning accounts for buying gold. Especially that I donated 50+ EUR and I was very active player. Never have done ninja looting nor harrassed other players. I would like to get an information how long my ban will last, and if it was supposed to be a perma ban I would like to somehow work it out and make it 30 or 60 days ban..

Terminated means permanent ban. It's considered a serious violation of the rules because you can already buy gold on Trade section on website. If you buy gold from another site, you are supporting gold sellers instead of supporting Warmane. And those gold sellers often obtain that gold by stealing accounts. And financially supporting people who steal accounts seems like something that should result in a permanent ban.

As I said earlier - I completely understand that I've made a mistake. It was almost 1 month ago, when I literally came back after 5 year break. Also I supported Warmane by donating over 50 EUR.

I would like to talk about possibility of changing permanent ban to even 60 days ban. How can you ban botters or cheaters for 30 to 60 days, and ban people that bought some gold once permanently, even though they donated. That's literally crazy.

Also, I am pretty sure that ban appeal system has lowest priority to moderators and my ticket will be never taken seriously.

You can do that by making a ban appeal.

Ban appeal tickets are lowest priority and usually take around 1 week. If your ban appeal gets rejected, you can make new one every 30 days. That is the only way you can get unbanned or get your ban duration changed.
