WotLK Icecrown transmog question.

So i saw warriors transmog their Shadowmourn Axe into sword etc, or other people transmoged swords into axes.

So i assume 1h = 1h 2h=2h off hand = off hand etc.

But when i tried to transmog my priests mace into dagger it wouldnt allow... why ? Priests can wear both daggers and maces both are 1h weapons.

Am i missing something ?
