1. Gold farmers, Open office Profit spreedsheet

    Hey yall,

I love to gold farm. my trips to the ah are something i enjoy doing in my down time.. What i was hoping for is that i just got open office and im trying to set up a spreed sheet that will take my Starting gold say section B2 of my spreed sheet and calculated my end gold profit (section B3). But if for example i set up (=B3-B2) I always end up with a neggative. Granted thats a small inconvience, but this is something im working on for me, in the future to move to work. and a boss seeing a negative will freak! Im also looking to take the amount spent on ah free (section b4) and subtract it out.

I am new to spreedsheets and really wanting to learn them as my work is wanting me to take over the financial aspect of our small company. So i figured learning while im playing wow, will help me out in the work place as well.

thank you for any tips and help.

Ithink i have figured it out. =B3-B2 (this is for the End goldand starting gold) Then i take =C2+C3 (C2 is Auction deposit already spent and C3 is next fee spent) then i take =B4-C4 (total profit - total auction deposit) which gives me my rough true gold income.

What i cant figure out now is. What is the precent value of the AH takes from your trade, anyone know the math on that?

  2. It would be difficult to reference without knowing what cells these formulas are typed in. To find this percentage, you will need to take the total in AH fees divided by total gain.

    =Fees/Profit

You will want to format this cell to percentages probably to the 1000th. (ex. 4.037) Have fun with your project, excel is a great tool!

    Own faction: 5% AH cut
    Neutral AH: 15% AH cut
