Burning Crusade Private Server Transfer

this question may have been asked before, but I really wanna make sure its up to date:

Is it possible to transfer a character from a simillar (same xp-rates) to a warmane server? I have a good geared char on Server x. is there anyway to "transfer" (I know its not a transfer, it would be just a new char) to outland-warmane?

Warmane is not keen on mentioning other private servers out there.
