1. Attacking low level towns

    This isn't a rant, just a discussion.
At what point (if any) does attacking a low level town and killing any player that enters, as well as every single npc, go from world PvP/being a dick for just a bit of a laugh to disruptive gameplay?
It definitely is disruptive gameplay no doubt, disallowing anybody from finishing or collecting quests, but I mean at a level with grounds to report. If it could at all, since killing npc's isn't technically against the rules or it wouldnt be possible.

  2. It's not disruptive gameplay at any point. You have these options:

    1) deal with it
    2) deal with it
    or 3) deal with it

  3. This isn't a rant, just a discussion.

That is what is WORLD PVP actually ... And always have been.

    Ganking lowbies. Thats it.

  4. Nothing wrong with it. Time to move on. Go level up in some other zone.

  5. Welcome to a PvP server!

The only thing I can say to this is that you have to accept the terms of a pvp world when joining it. Complaining or simply requesting a discussion doesn't do anything because this is what a pvp world is. More then often when a discussion about pvp rules is brought up, it is always revolved around open world pvp and how it is effecting their leveling.

The basics: (and I'm not saying you don't know but simply just discussing my statement above.)
    - There are controlled territories and contested territories.
    - If you are in an enemy controlled territory you cannot attack players not marked for pvp.
1.) Played marked for pvp are players who attacked an enemy, or supported a pvp marked character by buffing, healing, ressing, or simply being in a party with them.
    - Contested territories are free game. Kill whoever whenever however at any level without restrictions.
1.) A big supporter to why we have these zones is a.) it turns this into a open world pvp game. b.) its to fit the theme of the lore.

How to handle the situation if it is giving you troubles but you still want to continue playing on the server?
    - Make friends, find a guild. Maybe find some blood thirsty pvp geared dudes. Chat around a little and I am sure someone will come to your aid.
    - Make a quick determination that you're going to be camped and can't do anything so take res sickness and hearth before someone notices. There are multiple zones that support leveling for the same levels. (A big one for paladins is to pop a bubble and hearth out. I recommend making a macro with the in-game macro tool.)
    - If you feel like taking a risk, make a toon on the other side and send a very nice whisper to the person camping you. Kindly ask if they could stop so you could level. Sending hate mail is never a healthy way to go and almost always ends up with the enemy camping you for even longer. Most people however have a good heart and will leave you be. Don't be surprised however if they don't and don't be mad, it's a pvp server after all. :)

I love pvp servers. I love open world pvp, arena, and battlegrounds. I think it helps create great memories with friends. I remember times where I was ganked and I had to ask people for help. General, yell, trade, guild. Almost always people come and it's nice to add them to your friends list after as well. I hope you have a blast and if it's causing you too much stress then maybe a pvp world isn't right for you but just accept that over sending hate mail.

    Good luck!
