Mailbox bug?

I sent my friend Hellfrozen Bonegrinders, they're about 5.5k gold and they didn't appear in his mailbox. I'm 100% sure that I entered his name correctly. Is there no way to get them back or it just needs to ''load''? I sent them 10 minutes ago.

i believe it takes an hour for mail to go from 1 player to another. it's only instant between your own characters.
