WotLK fraudulent donation?

so i know donations are down, but when i went to test it before checking the forums, i got an error saying it (or my card) was blocked because of fraudulent activity. is this because of the current issues regarding donations for everyone? didn't see anyone else saying they had this problem after i checked. just curious. ty =)
