I'm also having this problem. There is a "." in the middle of my email which isn't showing up on the email address listed under My Account. When I try to change my email to the correct email address under Settings I get the message "The supplied new email address is already in use."
So far the only issue I've had with this is being unable to use Two Factor Email Authentication, but I'm worried there may be other issues.
Is there a way to correct the listed email address so I can use two factor email authentication?
