I have been encountering a severe problem lately and I feel like the Staff should consider taking our reports more seriously. This server has a huge problem that harms both the players and the staff; It's called BOTS. They are EVERYWHERE and there's no action being taken. I'm really concerned about this, I have filled a couple reports, a guildie has filled a couple reports aswell with several minutes of video recording and all we've got so far is an automated message. It's been 3 weeks and nothing has happened to these bots. We have messaged Aldtharios aswell a week ago but still we haven't seen anything happening so far.

Why are these bots so harmful to the server? Easy to explain:

>They bot in the auction house using level 1 characters, constantly undercutting absolutely everyone at a speed that's of course not human.
>The staff doesn't make profit since they don't sell the gold on the webpage, they sell the gold for real money on third websites.
>They are the reason of why it's literally impossible to make gold on the auction house and the main reason of the gold squish.
>These players have entire guilds of bots that basically ruin the server economy.

We need an assurance that action is being taken against those individuals with extra chromosomes. I understand that you are short on staff members, but given the extraordinary situation and after having provided names I think that some staff member should dedicate 10-15 minutes to analyze the behavior of those subhumans, it won't take longer than that to conclude that they are indeed botting.

For the greatness of warmane, please do something about them, I'm begging you like a miserable but this has gone way too far, those insects have made so much ****ing gold that when you inspect them it shows they have made -1 copper due to breaking the hardcode of how much gold the statistic tab can track. They have made MILLIONS that they have been selling for years on third party websites, severe action needs to be taken against them.

Bots are existing pretty much on every server. I once started reporting them on burning crusade server but no avail. They would just reappear in seconds. So I stopped. Also bots kinda help with maintaining queue if you ask me. More bots > more people on server > more queue and bigger profit. I mean, that is just my thing, i don't accuse anything I just have my opinion why they ''might'' be good.

In the most recent devlog it was mentioned that they are improving their bot detection methods, as well as it's perma bannable now. So saying it's being ignored is not fair.
Issue is if you ban one account, they're free to make another one straight away.

In my opinion it was the gold squish that scaled this out of proportions, without no solid way to handle bots.
I have been pointing this out for years ever since they started the "gold squish", but they are making more money on coins now from people bying gold then before when gold was overflowing.
Saying that "they are improving their bot detection methods" is very vague.
