Realms Solutions for everyone that payed for warmane

Hello i wish i would not be needing to write about this but im certain more ppl will come with the same topic in the future.

I played this game about 4yearsish ago mainly on cataclysm servers and for whatever reason i stoped playing, for my surprise when i came back i couldn´t log in cataclysm servers so there i found out they were shut down and none of my characters were avaible characters that i invested money into them are no longer availeble wich makes me really sad.
Tried to reach out for help and all i get is that i misssed the timestamps to move my character.... well how should i know if i werent playing the game and if this is the only answer i get.. how will i feel about donating in the future? knowing that i might lose my money again if for some reason i need to stop playing again and a server shut down happens. I write this in hope that you guys understand how unfair this is for people like me people that payed money into warmane and lost it i write this looking for solutions.
If donating for warmane means helping with staff salaries and server development then help us in this situation! Cause right now i helped you guys and what i got back from it just vanished :(

It's a voluntary donation and not a purchase. Game servers for other paid games also shut down. Crysis 2 long time ago was shut down. Once the game loses it's players it gets shut down.

It's been discussed multiple times around here and it's final: character transfer was available for some period (quite a long period tbh), after that you can try your luck with emailing [email protected] and that's it.

Cataclysm was probably shut down because it used up more than it made back. If it had players it would still probably exist.

i did donated to get something improved in my game doesnt seem fair i have to leave warmane to come back and have nothing seems a bit worthless the money i droped in the game. Plus warmane is still up there should be solutions for everyone. specially for those who suported the game develepment .. but that only my opinion.

This is unfortunate. With Cata realm shut down, a lot of players lost their donations. However, Warmane isn't obligated to refund anything. They can announce 100% discount tomorrow, have everyone donate 100s, thus earn 10s and 20s grand of $$$ and shut down the server the very next day.

Having said that, given that Warmane is still kicking hard & keeps getting money inflow, I do not see any particular problem with staff refunding you at least a portion or providing you with some 3.3.5 boost for either Lordaeron or icecorwn realm of your choice.

Im just looking for a little sympathy for someone that helped the server at that time and wasnt here to use the downgrade or upgrade system has i havent beecause i wasn´t playing at that time its unfortunate. but still think some compensating should be given for people in my situation.

it takes a few seconds to check the website once in a while. you missed the deadline, your SOL. deal with it.

its a donation, not a purchase....and while were at purchases.... i think even blizzard themselves have posession of all of the chars and stuff from players on retail and have the right to delete it or shut it all down tomorow if they chose to, let alone an "illegal" private server.... and those ppl on retail pay 50€ per expansion and 12€ per month.....warmane were more than fair and made a transition period that you missed since you quit playing here....tough luck but imo they dont owe you jack ****

you still have your donor acc that skips q's and has some in game perks....just start again and youll be back in it in no time.... and might have a blast while doing so too.... i myself have 8 chars on mop server that are full geared but the server is practically dead....i bit the bullet and crossed over to wotlk from scratch and having a frikking blast now
