WotLK Speedkill LK exloiting

Hello,
me and my friends just got banned for exploiting coz we did speed kill on Lich King 10man Heroic.
Please tell us what did we exploit, what was the content of report about ?

To be honnest we used soulstone, rebirth and divine intervention to keep 3 players outside of frostmourne.
To make it clear the spell harvest souls itself can affect only alive players ofc, how can u harvest soul from dead body. And it is also harmful spell that means u are protected against it with divine intervention (just read the description of spell). Those 3 players acepted ress/removed DI and attacked lich king while the rest or raid was inside frostmourne.

There comes difference between exploiting and using advantage of game mechanics. The game itself from blizzard just didnt count with things like this, thats why even on retail while Wotlk times ppl used these mechanics to do speed kills. Since Lich king is not scripted to attack ppl outside of frostmourne it is not exploiting, because thats how the game works.
Exploiting is using advantage of ingame BUG which is basicly caused by warmane scripts. BUT acording to used mechanics there was no warmane bug used to kill lich king faster.

It takes several days for ban appeals to be dealt with.

well ban for exploiting is only 5 days so basicly i just have to w8 till it expires. More likely we would like to know what was the reason so we can make it proper way acording to "warmane rules"

I hoped for some answer from warmane staff (sorry members) coz we would know what we shouldnt use nextime while climbing ledders

That Rado Milchev philosophy on what is legit kill is hilariuos. You used bugs before that as well but got away with it, now you got banned, but only for short time. You should have gotten perma ban. Using game mechanics that are not meant to work on the boss is the definition of exploit. The thing that the bug existed on retail as well but wasn't fixed because new expansion came out by than doesn't make your behaviour legitimate. In current stat of the Warmane realm such things must be banned.

There is reason to interpret that Blizzard wanted people to stay outside of the Frostmourne room and kill immobile NPC that does nothing. LK should be invulnerable while people are inside of the room. But that is something where Warmane staff need to come up and make it happen since many gulds are abusing that at this point, either by using resses, soulstones or DIs.


The irritating part of the thing is that you people go around praising your game skills, and for what? Killing NPC that stand with its sword pointed towards the sky while taking dmg? Is killing a dummy at this point of the game considered a skill?

Should you make LK just another Thunder Bluff standing dummy?

ok then explain to me how can it be considered an exploit when it isn't a bug, it's how LK is scripted and worked like that on retail for whole duration of the patch which lasted way to long and it wasn't considered an exploit on retail. it is just utilizing game mechanics. definition of an exploit is using a BUG to your advantage.

LK standing and taking dmg without any activity on his part is a defect in the program :D But your IQ is not high to understand that. You only say retail this or retail that lol

i just dont get what that banned user ment with his post. LK was spawned for long time and blizzard just left that "bug" up there, i mean is it even a bug when theres no such a script ? bug is something that should work one way which is considered as good one and its not working that way. So thats kinda tricky to say what blizzard ment to keep ingame or not. But its a past already and since we are playing the same patch we considered that blizzlike rules/scripts should be correct.
BUT, here comes the big BUT. If we knew theres something reportable in tactic we used, do you think we would record it ? or even upload it ? So that's why i just briefly asked what was wrong, so they can tell us and we can remake it let's say in proper way. And trully i hoped for answer from warmane staff, just to tell us the reason so we can avoid it nextime while doing another funny encounters, not for answer from random buy who doesnt have a clue how things should or are actually working sorry. I dont really need huge discusion here, just short answer from staff. But they didnt answer yet so we just have to give it a time until we find out how to make it properly. Even though we just wanted to beat speedkill timers, so why would we play unfairly in purpose lol. So talking abour perma ban is completely incorrect acording to our behaviour/post here :)
