WotLK addons not working

so when i put some addons into the folder (such as tomtom,parrot etc.) it doesn't show up in my addon tab in wow when i open it. mind helping me?

be sure to:
1. download the version for Wotlk client
2. place them inside Interface/Addons folder
3. Start the game > at character selection screen click on "AddOns" (bottom left corner) > enable "Load out of date AddOns"

i did all that, when i click on the addon's on the bottom left it doesn't even show up, some do and some don't i don't know why

If you say you did everything skullatbash told you to, only other thing I can think of is you not restarting WoW when placing addons in the folder. Not sure if that matters though

You probably have an extra unneeded folder between your WoW/Interface/AddOns and addons them selves.

How it should be:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-Party-BC
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-Party-WotLK
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-BurningCrusade

How you probably have:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM-Party-BC
etc.
