On the 10th of March, I tried to log in. My password seemed to have changed, so I went and checked my account's email ( It's a secondary email that I don't check often). I had an email on the 3rd of March saying my account's email had been changed successfully.
That's when I knew I had been hacked.
My irl friend logged in the game and noticed my character was online. He whispered him, and he said he had bought the character in the Warmane store.
My character is a DK named Daxterx on Lordareon, and had 5.9kgs , but he bought it naked without items.
I have tried to contact Warmane for 3 days now but no answer, and I know they use to be pretty responsive.
I can understand why they would ignore me, if that player is telling the truth, and he did buy my character, it will be a hard thing to fix, since he might be innocent and spent legit money on that character, so they can't just take it from him now.
I had alot of time invested on that character, including the Red Proto-Drake and some other cool stuff. So I really want to get it back.
Any suggestions as to how I should try and proceed?

Make a new account and secure it better than your previous one.
You may be able to get the account back, email [email protected] and explain that someone has taken over your account but don't expect any items missing to be restored since warmane is not responsible for those. Only items bought with coins might be restored, but it's not warmane's fault for you not keeping your account secure enough.
