1. Connection issues Lordaeron (NOT IN DALARAN)

Hey there Lordaeron community / staff.

I've been having several disconnect issues during my gameplay in the last few days.

Both my 80 dk and 74 paladin gets disconnected for no reason in dungeons, quests (dragonblight leveling quests chains, etc). I've been struggling with this the whole day.

Sometimes I play 1 minute and I get DC. Sometimes I play 5 minutes. Sometimes I log in and in few secs have DC.

I do know that people are getting DCs at Dalaran so no one gets AFK there.
But I get disconnects in the middle of dungeons, in the middle of quests, killing mobs in dragonblight, everywhere, even in less populated cities like darnassus.

I thought that there could be a bug where my Paladin was getting DCs in Dragonblight because my DK was logged out in Dalaran, but I logged in my DK and went to Icecrown and still got disconnected. (both characters are in same account - lordaeron).

I use cable connection for playing games / wow.

    I tried a few things:

1 - reseted modem device and computer.
    2 - tried google DNS (8.8.8.8 n 8.8.4.4)
    3 - tried ipconfig /flushdns , ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew in windows cmd prompt
4 - Changed network cable. Had a new one so decided to check if it would be better.
    5 - used cmd netstats to check 8085 / 8086 for warmane's ip
6 - tested my route to warmane gameserver ip using win MTR and PingPlotter (better than cmd regular traceroute believe me), both says that i have 0% (none) packet loss. ping (ms) is fine
7- tried to disable all addons (auctionator, gearscore, quartz, healbot addon, tellmewhen, silverdragon).
    8 - deleted wow's cache data/folder
9 - checked other games connection such as Dota2, Tibia and CS:GO, all of them are working fine - no disconnect issues.
10 - tried to play in Blackrock PVP. Played there for 10 to 20 minutes. Played a whole battleground and had no disconnection issue.

Game is being played in windows 10, 50Mbps down/upload connection and i5 8th gen, 4gb video graphic card and 8gb RAM.

I want to make clear and say that I have NO LAG, i play with ping 200ms, which is great and fair because i'm not from Europe, and I get disconnected for no apparently reasons - even when the server is empty, like in the past 8 hours ive been struggling with disconnects in Lordaeron.

From now on, idk what to do. Since other games are ok and I have normal internet connection, it looks like it isn't ISP problem or internal network problem.

My characters nicknames are Anvy and Anvie from Lordaeron, and I wish you guys could point me out something that i'm missing or if there's anything you guys can do for me.

Since i don't have problems with other games and since my internet connection is doing fine for navigating internet, uploading stuff, watching videos etc, I can't blame ISP, i guess.
Edited: April 2, 2020 Reason: Disconnection info

  2. I managed to get in touch with some info and I feel like sharing to whoever wants to read it.

Some ISPs - (internet providers) from Brazil and actually from all over the world are having issues with internet connection.

I read that Corona Virus (covid-19) is responsible for raising up the use of internet by eleven times the regular number.
You guys can check Akamai website for the data i just spoke about.

One of the big villains is the " illegal streaming TV " known as IPTV.

It doesnt matter if you don't use it, ppl from all over the world use it and consumes a high amount of internet bandwith. It's different from well known streaming websites such as netflix and amazon, etc, because those have servers with the movie files near your country, so they distribute the files and it goes smooth. I'm not very good at internet/computer stuff but they name it CDN.

Different from those, the illegal streaming tvs known as iptv and stuff don't use this CDN thing, they dont distribute the files. That directs everyone into the same place, like Asia, Europe, Africa, etc. That makes even the international submarine cables saturated.

If you are having troubles like mine, the problem is probably with your ISP and the global internet thing because of covid19.

My suggestions to improve gaming time in warmane without being disconnected is:

use internet in a momment that people don't use it too much, like after midnight.

if you have VPN, give it a shot. If you don't have it, I wouldn't buy one since the problem is temporary and it might not solve the issue. I don't suggest Free VPNS. Take care with those because i heard that when talking about online gaming most of those ips are blacklisted and might get you banned - i'm not sure of it tho and I don't know how warmane deals with it.

Check your connection using protocols analyzers like wireshark. Apart from that, you can use winMTR and PingPlotter which imo is better than simple trace route on cmd, to check for packet loss.

I recently noticed that i'm having 50% packet loss from time to time in the connection that leaves from São Paulo and goes to Europe.

I do use WOD models tho and GM answered me on in-game ticket to disable WOD Models and use "regular old wotlk" because that may fix a variety of errors and DCs problems. I tried and it didn't work, but if someone is having a similar issue, maybe that can help as well.
