Recent change to ilvl brackets is not really a welcome one in my opinion.
From the point of view of recent 80 with low overall ilvl or 80 with pvp set and offset the "merged" bgs are quite frustrating.
The frustration comes from being low ilvl or having multiple low ilvl on your side.
I know its a problem A and H faces the same but nevertheless its still frustrating due to "the grass being greener on the other side".
Therefore I propose separation of frostmourne from other realms in rbgs untill they they *catch up* or whatever.

I'm pretty sure what you're asking for was in the last devlog.
Our new realm Frostmourne is part of our crossrealm system. There are a few changes we made to ensure things remain fair though.
Level 80 Players from Frostmourne are automatically placed in the 'lowgear' battleground bracket. Players from Icecrown and Lordaeron can also play in this bracket if they qualify. There are certain limitations on gear to keep an even playing field. Any player which has progressed past the current Frostmourne status, will NOT be placed in this bracket. This includes gear in bags, bank, and so on. These limitations will be changed as Frostmourne progresses through the expansion.
Players in the range from 10-79 will be playing with the other realms as usual.
Frostmourne arena remains seperate right now.

Agree... Can't be real, that with 1/5 of Furious set I am logged against full WF guys with Shadowmourne... It's almost like killing lvl 1 with your lvl 80 character. Please don't start with things like: Skills matter, gear doesn't, cause If u get killed in 3-4 hits, then u have no chance to show your skill if any. A lot of people are complaining about this update, not just the low GS ones. Every time I log BG I hear: Look at his blue items, what is he doing here? And similiar stuff. I guess it can be fun for the geared ones to kill noobs like I am, but it's not funny anymore when u get spawn killed almost every second BG because u log with ur friends. For example when I log in a party WSG, 3/10 of players thanks joining a party are with 3k and that's enough for losing the BG.

Yes but the item limitation seem too strict and "Frostmourne status" is too vague.

Frostmourne status is referring to what the realm's current progression is. I'm not personally keeping track of the progress but I do know that only the first tier of content is available right now.

And that is my issue, having any higher tier items instantly putting you in the high bracket.

You shouldn't be able to obtain any higher items on Frostmourne since they aren't available.

I am talking about queing BGs on icecrown and such, the bracket might aswell be only one.

Alright, I see what you're saying. I'll ask around and see if anything can be tweaked. I know we've looked into adding a 3rd bracket before but ultimately didn't because it would split the queues far enough to cause our system to disable brackets entirely due to not enough people queuing.

Ty for your response :) new bracket would help. I guess it would not cause any troubles. It should be the same as it used to be before Frostmourne. The amount of people queing is not the problem by my opinion.

What about a +6k gs bg bracket? There should be enough high geared players on Icecrown and Blackrock for that.

I brought up the issue but I likely won't know anything beyond that since I'm not part of the staff who make decisions. I just remember at some point a 3rd bracket was looked into.

I would 100% support a +6k gs bracket as well, this would also fix the new Blackrock toons from getting a bad experience in battlegrounds.
