Is possible to remove crafter name from an item?

Can you remove the crafter's name from an item? Like by renaming the crafter or some other way?
I tried to google it but found nothing saying it possible about Wow, so I'm thinking there must be a special way specific to Warmane

When the crafter renames, the name changes aswell. You can't remove the name of the crafter.

Is the AH removing the name of the crafter?

Name doesn't appear on AH as far as I know, it appears only once you buy it and take it in your inventory or equip it on your character.

I think it gets bugged up after you change factions but it's not worth doing that for a stolen item, give it back.
