Forum no ban for insulting player

I was selling my stuff at Trade/Global Chat and this player `...` whispered me `i hope your mom die slowly and painfully from cancer`.

i made the ticket and Gm responded with `Use the ingame ignore function`

I have seen people being banned for abusing, harresment and racist behaviour, so why let you let this kind of player go free without a ban??

Many people I know that got Suspended for about 2-5 days never game back after it expired. While players are banned, they spend time on other hobbies, games, or focus more on real life.

In this case, you want to be ban-happy when you literally could use the ignore list.

There could be a reason he's saying mean things to you too that you're not talking about. For example, you may have tried to intentionally make your team lose in WSG by dancing with the flag, and a player may have whispered you that after the game.

For this reason, it's not worth the time investment for GMs to puzzle the story together because they have more important task to deal with than two full grown adults acting like kids were one kid said a bad thing and the other kid tattletales on the parents (GM in this case), just sayin :P

Racism gets banned if it's on global. Harassment bans are handed out once a person logs multiple toons just to spam you in whisper. Getting insulted by one person is irrelevant. Online games aren't safe space for snowflakes.
