Today i tried to enter my warmane account and it tells me that it has been suspended, I enter the page and it says that is fot ninja.... I have never donde ninja i always roll items that serve me, just beecause some bitter people want the item and report me as ninja does not make sense. Ban is not a big deal but still unfair....
Willing to bet it wasn't your MS item you rolled need for. And no, "better stats" doesn't mean you're allowed to roll on tank chest as a dps, even if your chest piece is lvl 35 trash drop from Scarlet Monastery.
Also, "everybody else passed, so I needed" is against the rules anyway. You could've picked greed still, and nothing would've happened you, besides getting the item.
"I needed for OS" isn't going to slide either way. If it were allowed, 100's of enchanters would be running instances needing for their "offspec". The items would only be disenchanted later on.
Apparently it is a big deal if you felt the need to post about it. Are you sure you've never ninja'd? Because if you ONLY roll need on items that are a direct upgrade for your main spec (the spec/role you entered the dungeon as), there is no way you could have been banned.
Something people get hung up on sometimes - mp5 for example. If I am a mage and I have no pants on at all, the healer has ilvl 187 blue pants on, and blue ilvl 200 pants with mp5 drops and I need on it (I have no pants on, it's only 13 ilvl higher than the healer's), I have just ninja looted. Is it an upgrade for me? Sure! I have no pants on! However it is not an upgrade for my main spec, as mp5 is a healer stat. Just an example, but you get the idea of how finicky it can be.
Like I said though, the only way you can get banned is if you take something that isn't an upgrade for your main spec (spec/role you entered the dungeon as).
