    Enchanting Rings

    I spent the last month or abouts farming rep to get my Ashen Band of Endless Might on lordaeron, which i got. The point was to enchant it with 4 of all stats from TBC as it should theoretically speaking be one of three ring enchantments that wont 'disappear' if i was to drop enchanting. Today i finally got the rep and mats to be able to do that, i first enchanted my Wrathful Gladiators ring and when i went to enchant my ashen band it said "Target is too low level". Surely this is a bug, the ashen band is 277 item level and i cant enchant it but my gladiators ring which is 264 is high enough?
