hello two questions, just started on wotlk server and with the 7x extra xp its been a blessing and a curse so far. i am lvl 35 now and i am a prot warrior mainly been lvling through dungeons because its super fast ques and i am getting 2-3 lvls per run. the issue is tho that i don't have very good gear since Ive been skipping all the quests and out lvling the zones so quick. what do you guys recommend doing for gearing up to keep up with how fast i am lvling? because i do 1-2 dungeons and have to move on to the next zone.
my 2nd question is ive just been lvling as prot warrior but is arms or fury more fun / better for lvling? i want to try something else or should i just stick with prot up to a certain level? eventually i am going to main DPS i just went prot early on for the fast ques as stated above.
So, prot is very good for lvling cause You can take multiple mobs while questing, doing RDF meanwhile. It may be the fastest option. However, I've tried lvl up in arms and fury, its still viable, specially with x7 rates. I'd consider leveling up to 60 if You want fury tho.
As it comes to items - yea, You will be missing some uncommon/rare gear for now. Take whatever suits You from rdf (just dont ninja) and go on. At lvl 58+ quests rewards will give You some decent items.
Arms is good way to level. Prot is nice in a way, but I think if you lack the gear, it's not going to be fun outside of dungeons.
As for gear, who says you need to be going to new zones as soon as you out level your old one. If you're really struggling to survive, stay in lower zone and do quests. Some of those quests might give nice items that will last you for a long time.
