WotLK Why does my war Fury show reduced damage?

I've been trying to understand why my fury warrior shows reduced damage in the stats, I also want to understand why my white hits miss despite having 8% hit rating.

Reduced damage because of Titan's Grip

Dual wielding requires 24% hit to not miss white hits. Basically, that's how it is, nothing to be done about it.

8% is needed for skills and not to miss when you're wielding one weapon. Dual wield increases auto-attack hit cap to 27%.

So does that mean I'll always be missing around 12% of my basic attacks?

And Heroic Strike is not a "basic attack".
