WotLK Usage of Fade.

Im just starting out on a SP for pvp. I see a lot of people using fade? what is the purpose of that i thought fade was just a spell to reduce aggression in pve dungeons and all the improved fade just reduce the GCD of fade. Why do we use it?

It's not too often that you need to use Fade to get rid of a snare—sometimes dispel magic/disease is good enough and it is not on a cooldown, so consider that also.
