Can we stack professions and keep enchants and gems ?

Hello warmane,

I have a short question. Can we keep certain professions improvements and relearn a new one afterwards ?
I got my 2 rings for my specs and want to enchant them with "Greater spell power" (+23sp) and after that I want to replace Enchanting for another one.
sounds nice to have a bonus enchant on rings and 3 improved gems while using another profession.

I only see a tool tip for Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Tailoring which requires a 400 in their profession but not for the other 2.

So do we keep the enchant and the improved gems ?
