Taking in consideration that Tmog is a new thing and there's a lot of old characters in the game, it would be a nice gesture to bring this NPC (that actually exists on retail WoW) to Acherus:
It's an NPC that sells DK's starter gear which appears at the beginning of DK adventure.
It is impossible to find any of these sets on the actual game if you deleted it, and to Tmog it you will need to delete your DK and create a new one just to keep both gears, which is ridiculous.
Can you bring this NPC that actually exists in retail, please?
But you can't get starter set. I guess he is referring to Lordaeron realm coz there is not way to reobtain it... But I personally think its ok suggestion, I mean, every new dk has it and can keep it, but those who were there since long time ago, nobody has that set and can't get it again.
Maybe to add those items along with old naxx gear to coin store. Statless, just usable for transmog. But I think that would be too custom for Lordaeron
Let's assume Warmane went through with this. People will then start asking for other quest item rewards to be obtainable again for transmog purposes. There are few items that have unique looks, and can only be obtained via quests.
Kinda agree disagree here.
On hindsight, I guess it was good idea to keep my DK sets at bank, back in 2015 when I made my DK..
Well tbh I think that's why blizzard introduced it, coz they introduced transmog. But in another xpac, so idk, I like it coz I would like to have that helm ofc, but I see all reasons why not

It is not a quest item. It is the DK's starter gear, which is completely USELESS until Tmog became a thing.
And taking that in consideration, it is why Blizzard created that NPC in Acherus (which Mr.Fordragon mentioned). Also if Lordaeron would want to mimic WotLK exactly as it was, tmog wouldn't be a thing neither because it was introduced later in the game (in conjunction with the NPC Quartermaster in Acherus).
