1. Changes to the stair/race event

    Hello,

Our Stairs and Race events are a treat this year! Make sure not to miss them out! They contain new concepts, alongside with many improvements and additions to make them brand new experiences to the community
The community here being 40 people from Lordaeron...

    I want to suggest:
    - Allow more than 40 players to the stairs event (or even the race event). Make multiple 40man raids with one GM in each for example. There were easily 300+ players trying to get invited
    - If you're not doing that, ditch those gimmicky and useless HPS/DPS/HPS(pally only) events and do more stairs events.
There is only one single stairs event on Lordaeron
    - Test your auto invite addon. You asked us to write a phrase into the chat and everyone did, but no invites came. So 1/3 of the people wrote the phrase again in the hope that the invite addon activation was just a bit delayed, resulting in the overly aggressive auto-mute to mute 1/3 of the people and excluding them from the event. Since you then, 20 seconds later, asked us to write the phrase again, but then with working invites, those muted players couldn't join.

Sincerely, an angry stairs-event hardtry with 180 WPM that joined every single stairs event since the founding of molten
    Merry Christmas >:c

    Edit: another suggestion:
    - After all scheduled stairs event are over, add an NPC somewhere that only teleports you to that area if you're a level 1 tauren. That way, everyone can enjoy the stairs event (without rewards ofc)

It's just such a huge waste of work/time to create a stairs event map for 40 people of one realm only, and then have 3 time slots wasted by HPS/HPS(pally edition)/DPS

P.S.: I still love you warmane, the other events were great, but I should start thinking about our abusive relationship.

  2. There's a stairs event on Lordaeron? I thought it was Icecrown only..

  3. A complementary suggestion:
Make a separate event realm. There, you can easily control/restrict/guide peoples actions and every single player can participate. If there are issues with lags because of too many players, instancing becomes a lot easier aswell.
Those realms could only be active during event times.

Having a separate realm would also allow an extensive (and simple) position and action logging to catch cheaters without affecting the other realms.
