Minimizing/Profiting from gold squish

I have my little market niche money maker, and i have some saved up cash, some saved up materials, and some circulating items on the AH that make me good profit, but at the end of the day i'm not a super rich dude, a gold squish will set me back unless i recuperate or mitigate some of its effects, although i do not know what's the best way to do this.

I am looking to NOT lose money or even better, make a profit, any suggestions?

You're quite late. Price inflation is already at the point of "cut our losses". Sure, some profit can still be made. Hold on to your materials, but whatever gold you still have, start looking to buy something commonly traded items, such as gems, crafting materials, primordial saronites.

You are few months too late to think about that. What you can o is flip stuff as much as you can now until squish, craft stuff if you can. Let your gold squish and stock up on things some 1 week after squish when people desperate for gold and let things go for real cheap. Then, keep your wealth in materials and stuff instead of gold, leave some gold for trading and keep stocking excess into materials. It's like in any environment where main currency is impaired one way or the other, players create their own currency, give it few years and everything will be traded in orbs, gems and primos.

1. Buy mats for ur market or professions.
2. Buy highly demanded mats like black pearls or silver ore.
3. Buy popular xmogr items. (Its like painting or antiques :))
4. Buy items with fixed price like mounts. Inflation is nice time to get albino drake or fckng worm dragonhaw :)
