Realms Language filter on global

I think some language filter will be nice on global. We see more other languages spams on global than english.I feel i play on a not english server when some nations start spam their own language.Its an english server so i dont know why so hard learn some words in 2021 for them.Enable english on global only.What do u think? That addon only blocks Chinese, Russian, etc. Can't block other languages.

Having said that I agree with your suggestion. Global channel looks very ghetto sometimes. I think there was an English-only guideline for public channels in Classic.

I feel you guys, but moderating that **** show is almost impossible, it would require people watching it 24/7. Maybe a solution is to mute everyone for a full day if any other language is used (if it could be done automated)

I think a system like this is extremely hard to implement, I'd go with having a different global and trade channel for the major language gropus on Warmane, like the way they have their respective sub-forums as well. This way it'd be easier to find players and guilds who share your native language if you don't speak English. However, filtering these would be a real challenge. No one could stop a Russian dude joining the Spanish channel and spamming the chat "just for trolling" and other issues like that would come up.

For real dude, I feel like I'm walking down a damned market district in London where I hear different languages from every corner as I'm reading global and trade.

Suggested many times to do something about channels, but it's impossible to do anything about it. Like Obnoxious said one time, they'd just find ways to go around it and continue with the spam: "Sv3nsk4 gu1ld <Exalted med Köttbullar> sök3r v4ckr4 fl1ck0r [...]"

The only solution is to filter them out yourself using some sort of addon to filter out certain words. I wonder if such addon exists. The languages are annoying, especially during the night, but the character vendors and the excessive guild spammers are even more annoying, especially if they take over trade.
