Technical Points Item Issue

Hello everoyone!

I used points to purchase Voldethar on Icecrown and I cannot equip it. The item id photo is a question mark. If i drag it into my character pane it does not register as a weapon. I've tried relogging, deleting cache, banking it, ect. any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Try opening a ticket in-game and seeing if GMs can help you. Usually there's no support for point shop but this could be an exception.

yes, there has always been an issue with that item:

I guess you can ask for a refund by opening a ticket on website for this specific case (remember to show the bugtracker link on your ticket):
my account > support > create ticket > general enquiry
(or by sending an email to [email protected] if your account is not premium)

Edit:
Maybe it would be better to remove that item from Store if there is no way to make such weapon usable.
It has been removed only from "Icecrown Coin-Shop"
It is still available on "Icecrown Point-Shop" and "Frostmourne Coin-Shop"

I know this is not particularly helpful, just a data point.

well, do you still have that weapon somewhere?
In that case you may download warmane client from here https://www.warmane.com/download just to test what happens when you try to equip it.
Based on their report the icon is a "question mark" -> when equipped the icon is fine but any spell that requires a "melee weapon" are not usable

OP, do you have a Mac? I suspect all people who have had this problem have a Mac. But I wonder if they are using the native client (most likely), or Wine, or Crossover, or...
