1. Is Frostmourne No Longer Cross-Realm?

I am playing a low geared character on Icecrown and I am now stuck in 20+ minute queues for RBG that sometimes just ends because we don't even fill the 5v5 requirement for WSG. I haven't seen any Frostmourne characters since Monday in my BGs. When I was queueing on Monday, with exactly the same gear as I have today, I was getting Frostmourne cross-realm most times, but occasionally it would throw me to the wolves with blackrock characters that would demolish me. I do not even have any gear above 226 yet so this is very strange behavior.

    Has something changed?

  2. I'm glad there's 0 clarity or information around this. Low gear queues on Icecrown are painful. We are legitimately waiting 30 minutes. I don't get why they don't just post how they expect things to work instead of destroying queues with unannounced changes.

Its not how they expect, they know exactly how things worked. Its how you expect it to go and the backlash community has been giving. In terms of how queueus should work there shouldn't be any gear brackets. If you queue in full green gear don't expect much from the pvp experience you are getting. Brackets were introduced to acomodate the sheer ammount of new frustrated players that refuse to accept how the game worked and just wanted to be catered. Frostmourne having its own bracket for this moment is reasonable as they are playing in a seasonal realm from 0 progress. Thou by the looks of it we can expect them to be added again to the general pool when relentless become available to them.

This is just an absurd stance to take. Gear brackets are good, but they've created an edge case of Icecrown/Lord players with low gear that is just horrible at the moment.

Without gear brackets the BG queues were not nearly as fun, especially on a character in full BiS. I want to play people who will present a challenge, not steam-roll because of bad RNG for the otherside being filled with green geared players.

Further, how you expect things to work, and how they work in practice, are sometimes different. They may not have intended to create this edge case, but in practice it was created. I work as a software developer so I know very well how easily these things can happen.

  5. look i'm not saying its not an extreme stance, i agree with you its a bit of extreme. But it is how it should be, i understand new players frustration but they will eventually get in that high bracket with expectations to be fair as the low one feels (its not at all, i one shot people there without any item above 213). Most people already playing pvp are downers, i mean for sakes you go die and leave battleground (not speaking about you directly, but that's 88% of my battlegrounds with leavers no matter the bracket, low or high.

The more you cater a group of people the more entitled they feel you know, just check the multiboxer's thread and lol. And those were a group that as catered for a long time.

Might be wrong might be right about that, only time will show.
