Technical Character names deleted

Hi all,

Wondering if you could help. I am trying to return to Warmane after some time away and I note the names of my 4 characters on the Icecrown server have been deleted. Characters are still in place though. I suspect this to be due to my inactivity and freeing up the names.

Is it possible to have my character names restored assuming they are untaken or my characters flagged to be renamed next time I attempt to log into them?

I don't think I got banned because I still have Envoy status and my account shows as "In Good Standing". I tried to raise a ticket through the My Account page but it appears as though that is only for ban appeals. I can't rename my characters through that page either as the characters do not appear in the dropd down box to purchase a rename.

Apologies if this is an inappropriate place for this question.

as, you said, it is due to inactivity: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=430433 (it happens every year)

Just try log those character > it will ask to type a name > try with their previous name > if it says "name is unavailable" it means you need to pick a new name.

I had already tried to log in and got an error prior to starting the thread but didn't think to try logging back in.
