WotLK Gearscore Add-On bug, ever since that April fools prank.

Ever since that April fools prank where the warmane mods turned off the gear score add-ons for everyone, I have been unable to find a single working gearscore add-on.

I don't even remember if it was 2020 or 2021 April fools when they did that. It's been so long. At the time I thought "Aha funny" and shrugged it off. I looked at the date and immediately understood what it was, a joke. Then as the days passed I thought they were serious because I couldn't get the add-on or any variation of it to work again.
Only weeks later did I realize that I am the only person in Lorderon sever without it, and for some reason nobody else seemed affected past that date.

Anyhow, I've gotten used to it for a period of I don't even know how long. However now i'd really like it back.
The whole point of the joke was just how essential it is to play on warmane. And yeah it kinda is so I'm done being crippled.
TL;DR No gearscore add-on works since April fool's day prank.

1. Delete all of your Gearscore addons
2. Delete all Gearscore settings:
Open WTF folder -> Accounts -> *AccountName" -> "SavedVariables"

Here delete any file related to gearscore like:
GearScore.lua
GearScore.lua,bak
GearScoreLite.lua
GearScoreLite.lua.bak

at character selection screen, click on "Addons" button (at left bottom corner)

Be sure "load out fo date addon" is enabled
be sure "Gearscorelite" is showed and enabled

No AddOns on that list? Go to your WoW/Interface/AddOns/ -folder, and check if the AddOns are packed within an extra folder. This is sometimes the issue when AddOns aren't showing up, despite being for the correct WoW version, and installed within the right folder.

E.g. the addon might be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM/DBM-TBC

When the addon should be installed like this:
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM
WoW/Interface/AddOns/DBM-TBC
