GMs can't help you with so little information. If i were you i'd go over all sons of hodir related places and check if you've missed a quest.
There is an item that drops from the Ice Giants that starts a quest and you probably either didn't pick up or missed.

I've just completed the line up to "Forging an Alliance"(my ususal stopping point,since it gets you exalted on the high rate servers) on Frostmourne,had almost 0 problems(some minor issues like bear charge not stunning bears,only one frost wolf to burn,and the drakkensyrd jumping bugged out once,but nothing critical). As Keymouse8800 said,check if you missed any quests along the way.
